This seems like a great service, but how easy is it to change accountants?

It is very easy to change accountants. When you sign up you will be sent a sign-up pack and you simply need to enter your current accountants name and address on a couple of forms and return it to us. We do the rest!

I'm happy with the price quoted but what happens if my Sage file is not as good as I believe it to be?

When we come to do the year-end accounts we will have a look at your Sage file to see how it compares with the grading used for your quote. If it is a lot different then we will contact you to discuss any changes that need to be made to the file or to the quote. We will not start work without your agreement to the proposed fee. If you do not want us to proceed with the work then we will refund any monies paid to us in respect of this work.

Do I have to send you all my invoices at the end of the year?

No, usually only a few purchase invoices. Your Sage records should contain enough information for us to prepare the annual accounts. But there may be a few invoices which we will need to see in order to calculate prepayments or check for tax purposes. We will send you a checklist so that you can see what we need.

Who would I be dealing with at your company?

You will be assigned a Client Services Manager who will be your primary point of contact. Your Client Services Manager will contact you when you sign up in order to find out more about your business and answer any questions you may have.

How do I ensure that all information is sent securely?

When we send accounts or tax returns to you we will upload it to a secure area in our website and send an email to you to inform you that it is awaiting collection. You will then log-in and using your password will be able to download it.

My current accountant sends me bound copies of my accounts each year. Would I still get these?

All accounts and tax returns will be sent to you in pdf format. These can then be opened by you and printed if required. Bound copies can be sent to you on request.

I need to be sure that all my queries are dealt with promptly. What level of service can I expect?

If you are not able to get through to the person you want then telephone calls are usually returned within 4 working hours. Emails are replied to within 8 hours and correspondence within 48 hours.

I have a number of companies. Can you give me an overall quote?

Of course. If you could email us at info@wmadvice.co.uk with details of the turnover for each company and the relationship between the companies then we will get back to you with a proposal.

What happens when I need advice on general business matters?

We are available to answer your questions by email or by phone. Most matters that crop up can be dealt with quickly and no charge is made by us. It is all included in the quoted fee and part of the service. Any substantial additional work will be charged separately and we will agree a fee for this with you at the outset.
